Being appreciative for every little thing in one’s path is like recognising one’s existence inside the world and being grateful for every experience encountered.
Seeing that life is sparkling and we are part of it, is like understanding that the mundane world is our being in the conscious making.
So when everything seems dark, and you feel like giving up, remember where you are and what you are doing to create this.
Know that you can change this attitude of thought within a flash of being, and see yourself as a spark within a wider picture.

Yup. Works pretty well for me. Every time I notice something good that happens, I thank the invisible guy inside my mind. You may call it the soul, spirit, intuition, and so on. Whatever it is, it seems to me that it likes being acknowledged.

Ana,

You are so right, often I let small obstacles defeat me. I’ve learned to look at the whole picture and remember how much I have to be thankful for.
Thank you for your lovely comment, and for visiting my blog

Ana,
Thanks for the reminder. It so easy to get caught up in the negatives and in everything we “don’t” have instead of everything that we do have. As I look at all the depressing news each day on TV, I am so grateful for all that I have–even something as simple as peace in my home.

Hi Ana,
Thanks for your thoughtful comment you left over at Revive Your Life.
Your post today is spot on. Our perception of our life, problems included, is a direct result of our thinking. Our negative thoughts create the negative emotions we feel. Alternatively, we can focus on the positive things that life brings and watch our mood and well-being change for the better.

I love your post about appreciation. Over these weeks I have tried to keep up with the Tweetsgiving posts around the blogosphere: How people are learning to offer gratitudes to others and share their stories for a bigger cause. It’s so wonderful to read what people are thankful for, advises to appreciate the little things in life for we always seem to take them all for granted. Thank you so much for this reminder, certainly, a short message can be just as powerful without being lengthy. You did it perfectly, Ana.

Ana, I can actually sau I’m there with you on this one. There are lots of transitions going on for me at the moment, that in the past, I would have seen as negative obstacles. Today I see them as a beautiful, unique way of being supported to have the best life possible ~ and that I’ve learnt to trust that everything that happens is for my best possbile good and leading me to my dreams. Ahhh. Feels good! Thanks for leaving your beautiful comment on my blog too

Hi Ana,
Many people are unaware of the power contained within us to harness a unique force known as the power of appreciation. Our lives will become satisfying and the rewards we seek will be manifested and we will start to enjoy every moment of our existence.
However, there are always positive and negative aspects to any circumstance in our life, but we have to focus or choose to appreciate the positive aspect of what you have and who you are, then weill be able to get excited in our life.
