Friends in all life forms

by Ana on July 19, 2009

Children, animals, insects, particles seem to be all drawn directly to me, in such a warming connecting way. Flies inparticurlarly always carry a different story. They have been seen to drop on my head to rest, and to relax. Others have purposefully grabbed my attention, through landing on my hand and fingers. Some flies just want to take five, whilst others just need a friend, and then there are the few that find my space a comfort, in time of death. As you see, flies are easily attracted to me.

Today’s fly, hurriedly jumped on my finger as to say “I have arrived, look at me.” The fly now in tune with my finger, unraveled their purpose. Slowly, and surely this fly continued to rest themselfs on my finger, never doubting my actions.

Life of a Fly

Life of a Fly

Sadly, the fly let go and died soon after. I left the fly on the earths surface. I realise now, this fly wanted to experience their last moments with me. A treasurable experience, choosing who you want to spend your time with. Friends come in all forms, and it is the experience that remains priceless.

Have you made any new friends latetly?

You have a very interesting way of looking at flies, I admire that :) Personally I find them annoying. But maybe they just annoy because I don’t appreciate them…?

Well, I wonder when flies and humans can come to an agreement – such as “If I put some sugar on the table, over there, will you please just sit and eat that and stop bugging me and stay out of my food?”. That would be great.

I once had a fly land on my hand that wouldn’t take off again. It just wandered all over my hand. Eventually I carried it outside and encouraged it to move to the floor instead.

Methinks it considered my an enormous taxi service. ;-)

I took the pictures of black mushrooms last Saturday, they were no more the next day. Life is short to them.
I agree with you, friends are in all life forms.

Ana, that is a beautiful perspective that, I must admit, had not ever crossed my mind before and I think it’s amazing! You have opened my eyes and thoughts this morning to another place entirely. Thank you

Hello Klaus,
Thanks for stopping by.
Always a pleasure to see a new person stop by.
Heehee thanks. :)
Perhaps the attraction is you, rather than the the food.
I have noticed, that when I give off vibes to the flies they all come at once, but if I don’t than they won’t come, even if there is food around.
That sounds like a nice agreement, but I think they like you too much to leave you. ;) Just think it like that, even though you’d rather not be ‘bugged.’ heehee :)

Hey Adam,
Did you enjoy the customer’s company ? (the fly)

Hello rainfield,
Appreciation in every moment, is very much key isn’t it, as you never know when you’ll see or encounter that moment again.

Hello Grace,
Thank you for stopping by, and your kind comment. :)
I appreciate you.

Hello Quiet Waters Rise,
Lovely of you to stop by.
I am happy that you have connected with my experience, and that has bought about a clarity and higher awareness in you.
I think it is important to remind each other of the world, as this is who we truly are underneath all the layers we carry on top in the social world. Underneath it all we are simply beings of light and nature, kind hearted and compassionate to those all around us. :)
