AW October Blog Chain 2009: Outono, a voz que não tem Noção

Touching in, and breathing

Touching in, and breathing

I am participating in the Absolute Write Blog Chain. :) For the month of October, the theme is Autumn including Halloween. We are left to our own devices in writing about anything we desire in whichever form we feel. Shethinkstoomuch wrote about her reading tradition during October, and the fact that she enjoyed reading Ray Bradbury’s The Halloween Tree every year and what her memories of this book meant to her. Bsolah will be the next person in line. I shall write about what Autumn and nature brings in freefalling words in first language of Portuguese. Translation in brackets.

Outono (Autumn)

A clarificação da voz da natureza (The clarification of the sound of nature)

Traz uma renovação interna que nos apanha com grande sinceridade (Brings an internal renovation that grabs us with great sincerity)

Debaixo das vozes, e por cima das dores la mora uma velha flor (Underneath the sounds, and on top of the wounds, there lives an old flower)

A manifestação desta flor e o sentimento que trazemos em pedaços de vento (The manifestation of this flower is the feeling we bring in slices of wind)

Estamos a crescer cada vez mais perto em preparação para o Outono, mas nunca resistimos a voz que cai quando o sentimento falha (We are growing much more closer in preparation for Autumn, but we never resist the voice that falls when feeling fails)

Outono, a voz que não tem noção e igual ao ser que não tem forma. (Autumn, the voice that has no notion is the same as the knowing that has no form)

Por o crescimento da nossa raiz em pleno dia, o ar fala e nos nao ouvimos porque temos noção em sentimento onde a paz e branca sem sujo (For the birth in our root in plain day, the air talks and we don’t listen because we have notion in feeling where peace is white without dirt)

Levando-nos para a terra, e para a o crescimento da nossa elevação, estamos alerto para sempre, na composição da nosa mente que adapta em natureza (Taking us to the earth and to the growth of our elevation, we are alert forever in the composition of our mind that adapts in nature)

A noção e a chamada da natureza, e o balanco do Outono dentro de nos (The notion is the call of nature, and the balance of Autumn in us)

That Autumn Balance

Autumn Balance

A sweet melancholy piece that for me hinted at the promise spring. I liked it very much.

“Brings an internal renovation that grabs us with great sincerity”. That line right there says it all for me. :)

Such beautiful words and I wish so much I could *listen* to the Portugese. :)

Dear Aimee Laine,
Nice to know you connected with the piece, through the language. :)
That’s a good idea, about listening to the Portuguese.
Thank you.

Lovely post! The Portuguese with English translation works very well together–I find myself rereading the poem, first in English and then in Portuguese.
The photograph is quite pretty.

You are going into a much more difficult writing, at least to my understanding, but there are beautiful words and are gifted to me.

Dear rainfield61,
In what way is the writing difficult? I am glad that you enjoy the significance of the words nonetheless. :)

‘peace is white without dirt’

How true that is. Insightful and lyrical – I wish I could knew the Portuguese language well enough to hear it in my head.

Dear Cath,
Thank you for stopping by and it’s nice to see you enjoy it!
Aimee Laine has just posed the idea of listening to this piece in Portuguese through Audio.
I think that’s a splendid idea.
I shall work on having a tool (plugin) implemented that shall transcribe this piece for Audio.

Pictures & titles of significance & value, indeed!
But I find the statements really insightful & influential, for anyone who is open perceptive.
I had a great time reading them. I liked the way spirituality, art & inner emotions grow as I read & experience them.
Ana, it means a lot for me.
Definitely a cliche for a comment but thanks.

Dear Chris Peterson,
I am glad that this piece touched you in all these forms, and that it reached you and gave you meaning.
I am delighted for how you feel. :)
It means a lot to me too, for you to express exactly how you felt when you read this.
Your experience is very much valued. :)

Taking us to the earth…..as a gardener, the seasons take on a different meaning. Spring is hopeful – I look forward to planting, starting anew, learning from past mistakes; summer is full of hard work – actual sweat – as I keep things alive and kill bugs; autumn is the breaking down, the giving up, the note taking season. Winter – hibernation and planning. This was lovely.

Dear Claudia,
Thank you for stopping by.
Happy that you enjoyed this piece.
It’s amazing what earth brings to us, and how we interpret the seasons isn’t it.
It is a pleasure to read how you find the seasons with your gardening experiences. Thanks for the share. :)

Love this one:

A noção e a chamada da natureza, e o balanco do Outono dentro de nos

Balance. The seasons are an echo of what’s inside us. Beautiful post and pics!

Nicely written! Are you Portuguese? What is the difference between a blog chain and a blog carnival?

Dear TheEnvoy,
Thanks!
Yes, I am of Portuguese origin but live in the UK.
A blog chain consists of a theme and a number of people (blogs) following one from one another in a list order. All those participating get the chance to write about the theme. Like for instances this Blog Chain’s theme was Autumn (including Halloween) and it included writing about it in any type of style. (Poetry, fiction etc.) You have the participants in the list I created, and they follow on from each other. (The time when it’s their go to take part)
I have not yet participated in a blog carnival, so I have no idea what that is like. What is it like?

Totally new words for me that you are using here for blogs
“blog chain and a blog carniva” I have no idea about it, could you define it please.

Dear Character Education,
Thanks for dropping by!
Read above in my response to TheEnvoy, to find out what a blog chain is. I have not yet participated in a blog carnival so I don’t have light on this one. Perhaps someone else could help us, and share with us their experience? Or if you’d like, google it and you shall find something on it. :)
