I have discovered and learned a great deal about myself this year through being in experiences. I have addressed and cleansed practically every experience that has affected me in one way or another. I have done so for the purpose of self improvement and clarity on my path.

Some of these healing discoveries are listed below:

  • I learnt that I can’t do everything and that however much I want to help everyone, I have to be balanced beforehand as I easily run out of energy when inbalanced.
  • I realise that one cannot take care of another if they are not taking care of themselfs, and that it is important to have that space and momentum for a person alone in order to regain clarity and balance their energy.
  • When inbalanced I shut away for a little while to re-connect with the ground and the things that I love that bring me back to earth, and that clears my vision to regain that balance. Thereafter I can re-connect with others again, within a balanced state of being.
  • I learnt that my dreams have always been an integral part of my existence here on earth, and that I have always been living them in one way or another and that there isn’t a set way of existence, as every route has it’s purpose when creation is being channelled.
  • I learnt to actively be more in presence through active expressions and purposeful choices.
  • I listened to my heart and flowed in the very essence of every experience, and continue to listen to it now.
  • Entered my dreams by living them and continue to do so.
  • Re-connected with my centre and my love for Artisan crafts thus producing amazing crafts for those closest.
  • Learnt that producing crafts for others brings out my complete being and that part of my helping desire is already activated when giving.
  • I got involved in positive causes and events in linkage with my love for nature and people.
  • I realise that by being involved in such positive actions I am already suporting others and most importantly raising my own self awareness.
  • I realise now that I don’t need to help others physically all the time, to know that I am already making a difference.

Kudos to you for all your realizations! It’s so hard to find your true “self” in a world that involves so much self indulgence — is it real or just a part of what everyone wants us to believe? You seem to have found the real you and that is awesome! Kudos!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! :)

SIt all sounds so very Zen. I like it for to find balance is to make sense of your whole and that’s everything in this life. Taking into account all around you is true happiness. I’m glad you found the importance of self-care for far too many women in this life let it be the last thing they discover. You are a wonderful person Ana and you have been very kind to Simone and I, for that I’ll always be grateful.
Warmest regards and a Joyous Holidays to you and Yours.

Ana! What a wonderful post! I think wrapping up the year is a fabulous idea. We just stumble through our days in a haze. How important to take stock of what we’ve done, and want has worked for us so that we may repeat the behavior in the future, and drop thing that aren’t working for us.

Beautiful Ana!
I’m inspired to do a wrap up now too!
It seems like you’ve really connected with yourself on mulitple levels this year and allowed a beautiful unfolding and reclaiming of who you really are. It’s so, so nice to hear!
All the very best and thank you for sharing your lovely self!

Wise words. I know a few people like you who haven’t learned those lessons yet, I may point them here :) . It’s hard for some people to realize they can’t help everyone, and, for that matter, they won’t be able to help anyone if they don’t take care of themselves first!

I’m glad you’ve found the right balance, and I hope you have a wonderful new decade.

I agree with Claire — very zen-like reading today. :) I’m stealing your first thought and posting it on my wall at work to remind me how important it is not to try and do everything!
